They cry themselvesInto rivers;Sweeped into currentsThat caress the crevices,Of their bodies.Only to swallow themWhole.A violence so seductiveAnd insidious,It creeps up to river bank shoresAs water lapsTo remind them that it was theyWho filled this riverIn the first place.But tears don't startBecause we want them to.
