A dual vision

Multiple interpretations

A hue of substance

An adjective of strength

A

Color of love

Black

Intended to be derogatory

But

It’s displayed on the inside 

In brown

Or varied shades of melanin

Defamed

Shades of dark skin

Reduced down to darkness

To justify hate

In a world that needs love

And all to embrace

Hearts

Not stigmas

Of shades...
