GAMING

The overall topic of my project is gaming. I chose this topic because I love playing video games and I have been playing for as long as I can remember. Some subtopics include that girls can play games too, the different types of games, and the different types of consoles you can play on. I want the audience to be more informed about the gaming community since it has been growing recently. Gamers are being recognized more and can be labeled as a job now. I want people to know that many guys play video games, but girls/women can also play. There shouldn’t be a restriction on what gender can play video games. I also want my audience to be informed about some of the many games that are well known in the gaming community. Some games include Call of Duty: Warzone (COD), Fortnite, FIFA, etc. Lastly, I also want my audience to be informed about the different electronics that people use to be able to play video games. Some consoles include PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PCs. Gamers play on many different consoles and there is not just one that is more dominant than the other. Mainly I want my audience to be more aware of the gaming community. It should be recognized more than it is now because it takes passion and a lot of work to be good at a game. People who game have a lot of fun and are able to make others happy by being influencers. It will be able to show that anyone can truly do anything they want and make a job out of a hobby. The title of my project as a whole is “Girls can game too.” The title of my main work is “Girls can game too” which is a collage. The video is called “Video of my day” and portrays what I would usually do when I hop online on my PlayStation.

My topic is gaming because it is a great distraction for me and I love playing many video games with my friends. In my collage I have put many pictures that represent the different gaming consoles there are and some of the games that some people play. The PlayStation controller shows my love for PlayStation, since I own a PS4 myself. There are also pictures of Xbox controllers, which are rivals of the PlayStation. Then there are many gaming setups with monitors and PC's that are really pretty and expensive. The next console that is also widely used is the Nintendo Switch. Around I have added some games like FIFA, COD Warzone, and Fortnite. There are also two gaming brands, Alienware and Razer. Along with two apps that are used a lot by gamers, Discord and Twitch. Lastly I added "Girls game too" because many girls are rejected from the gaming scene just because they are girls. I believe that all genders can play video games competitively, not just guys.
