Sarah-Denice is an educator and writer, with interests in identity politics, language acquisition, culture, and social justice through education. After working as a tutor in Queens, New York, she realized the social injustices that occur in school and eventually earned a Master’s in Education in Language and Culture.
Sarah feels passionate about helping students realize their abilities and encouraging them to learn new things.
With experience as a bilingual education/ESL instructor and special education aide, she is currently studying in the Urban Education Doctoral Program at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and working to promote culturally responsive practices in the greater Milwaukee area.
