Lindsey’s work was created for the purpose to point out the inequality towards women and Feminist's rights. When you look at world history, women have always had the down side in life. We had to look perfect, act perfect, and be perfect. Then when women finally got their rights, they still had no respect and were still looked down upon. The thing is we still are, and that's a problem. My art was created to point out this fact.

The first time Lindsey used a paint brush was eye opening, which is why it is a big part of her persona now. The phrase, “Speak yourself” is half of the phrase, “Love yourself, Speak Yourself”. The quote /message was made by BTS, a Korean boy band that made K-pop go from Lindsey’s hobby to her lifestyle. They were a big reason she picked up paint brush in the first place. Art and K-pop helped her get through things that she was too uncomfortable to tell anyone.
