Marcus Emel is a multi-disciplinary artist who specializes in writing and performance. Since a young age, he has been a student of the literary and performing arts. However, it wasn’t until March 2012 that he decided to take his passion further and make it a career. Since then, he has graced stages in Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and Washington D.C. as either/or/and actor/poet/dancer/producer.  He has written and published six collections of poetry and currently invests time/energy in young writers. “I’m at the point in my life where I have gained enough information and have had enough experience to be a guide to someone else.” Following the mantra, “It gets better from here,” Marcus is on a mission to make his corner of the world better than how he found it. 

Marcus is a graduate of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Al.
