I’m an employee at the Milwaukee Art Museum, where I  serve as both a Steward and Shop Chair for the IAMAW union (a liaison for union members and Senior  Leadership at the museum). I’m an artist who paints with therapeutic purpose. I am also a true believer in  using the brush, in addition, to journaling, as tool to sustain mental stability. Having the honor and  privilege of working in environments that acknowledge the power of self-reflection through creative  expression, has prepared me for this residency with Genre: Urban Arts. I’m so thrilled for the journey  ahead!
