The Farewell

You were born to the land,

with the faces of your bearers gazing upon

your bedazzled face.

The echoes of your first steps

bounced the delighted laughter

Off the daily walls.

Every success became another golden piece

to the crown you were bound to wear one day.

Smiling eyes welcomed the morning bliss,

Pearl tear streaked faces,

Mooned over the sun,

When the floor cracked below,

It was day come,

To pride a foreign land.

A tree uprooted

to be royally replanted

In a new plain

Of a curbed valley.

And, the tears waved a kiss of success

to attain future lights.
