I allowed the sorrow to take over
In complete agony I held my body
tight
Pain from all the negative
horrible things people had done to
me
were doing to me
all the self pity
I cried for the love in my heart I’ve
kept
refilling to give to others
instead of myself
Succumbing my thoughts to silence
feeling every emotion
I’ll never be the same because of it
I felt my soul cry that night
You can’t come back from that
