Let me go back
to the place where
everything is beautiful
all of its intricacies
and rustic flavour
coalesced in one fabric;

all of its culture
embalmed in the
fragrances of bedtime
stories and myths
of faraway kings and
countrymen, paying
ears to, while we grew
shedding the cloak
of childhood;

all of its splendor
that would leave the
well versed, dumbfounded
enshrouded in silence
profound, for this place
is wonderland buried
somewhere. where
mere eyes of sight
will fail to cognize
its pristine spirit, sublime.
