Glow, Black!✨
Black glows in the darkas imitation dry heaves, leaving guilt on its sleeveswiping white illness on walls,
kneeling with greed inits knees, not realizingwhere it’s coming from orthe fact that Black is entitledto no one but Her people.
Black glazed rapture, painting with glow drippingfrom their hands and theiractions before, during & after,
Smearing magic and rhythmof all motions and nations inhip revolutions & revelations withLife at their command.low,
Moving, shifting & framing mapstaking stands, collecting galaxiesreturning to land to stamp outall the hate beneath them,
wreaking of nature and glowothers mislabel as weaponsohhh, but that’s just deception, indeed, to their own tune as always,
attempting to sweep Black glowout of the room, out of the way,Yet too foolish to look at theirhands bloodied by it.
slipping into the regret ofquick sand.
it’s too late for remorse, now there’s no choicebut to be surrounded,to be gasping for airyet & still reaching for Black glow,
ignored by most butfelt by all, fists in the air and in faces, right where they belong
being history, majestic influenceeven in ruin.
Black, be global.Black, be vocal.Black, be open.Black, be mean.Black, be seen.Black, remember your gleam.
Glow, Black!
Glow!
