Christine Sloan Stoddard is a Salvadoran-American author and artist who lives in Brooklyn. Her books include Force Fed, Desert Fox by the Sea, Belladonna Magic, Water for the Cactus Woman, and other titles. She co-edited Her Plumage: An Anthology of Women's Writings by Quail Bell Magazine for Quail Bell, her literary journal.

She has presented work and appeared in productions at the Kennedy Center, the New York Transit Museum, the Library of Virginia, Annmarie Sculpture Garden, FiveMyles Gallery, the New York City Poetry Festival, and elsewhere.

Recent performances include credits at Theater for the New City, Broadway Comedy Club, and The Producers Club in Manhattan. 2020 will mark the release of her books Naomi & the Reckoning (available for pre-order now!) and Heaven Is A Photograph (CLASH Books).

She is also a 2020 Visible Poetry Project filmmaker, 2020 Table Work Press playwriting competition winner, and 2020 DC Arts Center curatorial fellow. Currently, Christine is the artist-in-residence at Heartshare Human Services of New York.
