Autumn Leaves
A poem by Eric Jordan Cambell
The falling of autumn leavesbrings back memoriesI wish I never knew. Many different shades and huesbut none represented the blue I felt. Instead, the embers reminded meof how my heart would glowwhen my nose encountereda scent I know well.I've come to be as hollowas the parks in December.Mass attempts to no longer wallowin the parts I remember.
