Its everyday

A modern day witch hunt

We’re always

So caught up

In fake news

Spiderwebs

Spun out of pure deception

We just can’t seem

To get free

No matter how hard we fight

We keep right on falling

So easy

So gullible

Who to believe?

Who to distrust?

These days

It’s never easy to know

Because they all seem one and thesame

So hopeless

Helplees

We go right on sinking

Pulled deeper and deeper

Into that abyss

Where lies and half truths

Appear to rule

In this scary new normal

Where being accused

Translates

Automatic

Into

Guilty

Before being proven innocent
