lovespeaks freely sometimes

sometimesit doesn’t speak at all

hepleads to please me

Ican’t say “no”

thoughit’s all too easy

tolie back like a broken doll

andbe stitched and sewed up

I(em)bedded a poem last night

betweenporous sheets

andunfolding skin

froma whisper 2 a moan

hiscold touch

tripping

down

my

spine

intoplaces

outsidethe realms of memory

somepeople like the unknowing

theyrevel in surprise

it’snot the truth that matters

it’sthose blessed lies

Act5

lookinto my eyes,he says,

kissingme as if the world

hadjust begun

holdingme as if the world

werecoming to an end

Iwish I could forget the future

I wish I could foresee the past
